Due to COVID-19, the Collab Accelerator has gone virtual!

Collab is an accelerator for Connecticut entrepreneurs. We envision a Greater New Haven where civically activated businesses run by people of color and women entrepreneurs help create community wealth, livelihoods for families, and structural change.

And now, we’re proud to introduce you to the 7 ventures in the Collab Spring Accelerator 2020 cohort:

College By Her aims to inspire and support Black college women through therapy, mentorship, and community.

Women’s Work is an art therapy and wellness program promoting art and mindfulness to support women through life transitions.

Students With Aspiring Goals (S.W.A.G.) is a social enterprise that employs youth to run food ventures — equipping them with entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and life skills.

The Blush Initiative is a cosmetology-based mentorship and workforce development program designed to impact the mental health, self confidence, and career-readiness of high-school students.

Fruit of the Earth is a mobile smoothie and juice bar — made with healthy, nutritious, and locally-sourced fruits and vegetables.

Wash & Go is a natural hair, skin, and nail care salon on wheels — making taking care of yourself directly from your home easy and simple.

Opal Stork Home Care is a geriatric transportation and home care agency providing concierge service throughout the Connecticut region.
